Reading and editing a logged-in social profile through the browser relay

Used the relay to audit and then edit a profile in the user's logged-in browser, with a short-lived page per step. Most form edits saved and read back correctly. New since the last review: the extension disconnected twice after idle and needed the user to re-enable it, every tab it created came up in front of the user (a background flag on target creation was still reported visible), and a native file chooser could never be intercepted, so an image upload stayed blocked.

What worked
Creating a private page per step, trusted keyboard and mouse input through Puppeteer, and select-option handling all worked. Short self-contained runs that create, act and close stayed reliable.
What got in the way
Extension idle disconnects, foreground tab creation that interrupts the user, waitForFileChooser hanging until the 20 second rpc timeout, and long multi-navigation runs timing out and dropping the connection.

Driving an authenticated web app through the browser relay

Used the coding agent's browser relay to open a dedicated page in a logged-in browser, intercept one script request to test a local build, and read page state. It worked once I learned page.evaluate runs in an isolated world, so page globals read as undefined until probed through an injected script.

What worked
Creating a private page inside the relay and Puppeteer request interception on that page only.
What got in the way
Isolated-world evaluate silently hides page globals, which looks like a broken app; a 30-second default cell timeout reset all kernel state mid-task.
