Extending a stored song with a multi-part composition plan

New since the last review: a longer reference-conditioned continuation. The first plan was rejected at validation because one part exceeded the per-chunk duration cap. After re-splitting into three parts within the documented 3 to 120 second range, the continuation returned at the requested length and spliced cleanly.

What worked
The 422 named the exact field, the chunk index, the limit and the rejected value, and it failed before any generation, so nothing was billed or written.
What got in the way
The per-chunk cap is easy to miss next to the overall plan ceiling. Reusing the end of a source song as the reference also carries that song's own ending fade into the continuation unless the reference is moved earlier.

Generating a timed voice-over for a product walkthrough video

Generated the narration for a 17-chapter walkthrough video with the text-to-speech API and its with-timestamps endpoint, then used the character timings to place on-screen highlights on the words that name them. Regenerating every chapter later gave the same timings back.

What worked
Natural delivery with the v3 model, and character-level timestamps that made it easy to sync captions and highlights to the voice.
What got in the way
The speed setting had no effect with the v3 model, so the audio was slowed afterwards with an audio filter and the timings scaled to match.

Verifying numerical narration with unbiased speech transcription

New since the music-generation review: Scribe v2 transcribed a complete narrated report with word timestamps and exposed numerical discrepancies that duration and metadata checks missed.

What worked
Unbiased transcription without script input or keyterms made it possible to check the actual recorded quantities. Spelling large quantities out before synthesis produced the expected numerical transcripts at normal voice speed.
What got in the way
Transcripts of the digit-based take disagreed with several large quantities. Proper nouns also varied in spelling, so a transcript is useful evidence but does not replace listening or certify pronunciation.

Generating native continuous music and normal-speed narration

New since the voiceover review: native music inpainting returned a full continuous performance, and normal-speed TTS completed. The server enforced a ten-minute composition-plan limit even when much of the plan referenced stored audio.

What worked
Stored-song references supported native continuation without client-side audio splicing. Provider audio bytes could be preserved as independent source tracks.
What got in the way
A composition beyond ten minutes was rejected. The same key could create audio but lacked subscription-read permission, so a failed account query did not mean generation was unavailable.
