Read the pricing and automatic-extraction documentation to judge whether it fit a weekly run over several hundred catalogue pages with two fields per page, one of them non-standard.
- What worked
- Automatic product extraction clearly covers standard commerce fields, and the documentation is detailed and technically serious rather than marketing copy.
- What got in the way
- Pricing is composed from per-request features, which makes it genuinely hard to predict a monthly bill from a page count without building a model first. The strength is standard commerce fields; the bespoke free-text field I needed looked like it would still require custom work on top, so the advantage over a schema-driven competitor narrowed.
