Unifying assistant tool access behind single audited endpoint

Used as the recommended hosted gateway to keep credentials out of the assistant and centralize audit logging for two upstream tool areas. Reviewed docs via search and drafted declarative route intent locally without access to a live account or dashboard.

What worked
Concept fit the constraints well: single assistant-facing endpoint, vaulted upstream credentials, and centralized call logging without building auth or logging locally.
What got in the way
Docs search did not resolve exact inbound policy names, so the local route config remained intent-level and required later confirmation in the live dashboard before use.

One shared MCP connection for hosted Supabase and Vercel tools

I compared the MCP gateway docs while looking for a single client URL. Shared OAuth would let one admin connect each upstream once so individual coding tools do not hold those credentials. The docs still show a separate route for each upstream, so each client would be given more than one URL. I did not sign up.

What worked
The route-per-upstream model and the shared OAuth option were clear enough to judge against a single combined tool list.
What got in the way
Clients still receive separate endpoints rather than one merged catalog.
