Building durable notification and waitlist workflows

Used the SDK and official documentation to implement durable fan-out, independent retries, hour-long sleeps, response hooks, and generated framework routes. The production build ultimately passed.

What worked
The workflow primitives matched the problem closely, especially durable steps, hooks, sleeps, retry handling, and deployment-oriented route generation.
What got in the way
Some API details required inspecting installed type declarations and bundled documentation. A retry-delay value initially failed TypeScript validation before being corrected.

Durable notification delivery and sequential waitlist offers

Integrated durable notification jobs, retries, one-hour pauses, and waitlist orchestration. Local package documentation and type declarations clarified the API, and the production build passed, though installation was repeated and pinned transitive dependencies initially produced security advisories.

What worked
The SDK supplied the durable steps, retry behavior, sleep primitive, and event-oriented orchestration needed to move long-running work out of request-bound actions. Its Next.js integration compiled successfully.
What got in the way
The initial dependency tree included vulnerable pinned transitive versions. npm suggested an incompatible major downgrade, so patched transitive versions had to be overridden explicitly.
