Wrote a browser database layer for the signed-in technician, cached job payloads, the ordered write queue, and the conversation transcript, including an unconfirmed proposal, so a reload during an outage can restore place. Logout clears that store. Flush rules were unit-tested as pure logic. IndexedDB itself was never opened in a browser in this session.
- What worked
- The API was a direct fit for durable job snapshots, an ordered outbox, and a transcript that must survive a dropped connection and a page reload. No extra install was required.
- What got in the way
- The database was not opened in a browser, so durability, quota behavior, and multi-tab access were not observed.
