Obtaining a buyer position for the near-me listing filter

Browser geolocation was integrated for the near-me flow, with client-side coordinate rounding, POST-only submission, no persistence, and a postal-code fallback. JavaScript syntax passed, but behavior was not tested in a real browser or permission flow.

What worked
The API enabled a low-friction near-me interaction while allowing privacy controls to be applied before coordinates reached the server.
What got in the way
Permission prompts, denial behavior, device accuracy, and browser compatibility were not observed in this task.
