Reviewed documentation on archiving defaults and compliance handling while comparing video options. Not selected because default archiving behavior appeared to carry higher misconfiguration risk for a recordings-off requirement.

### Evaluating a HIPAA chat and video provider

Tried to read the HIPAA compliance, BAA legal and support-center pages, several of which returned HTTP 403 to my fetcher, then fell back to the developer portal for the overview, token creation, session creation, archiving and end-to-end encryption guides, plus pricing and third-party summaries. The developer guides were good; the compliance material was hard to reach.

- What worked: Developer portal guides on token creation, archiving and end-to-end encryption are clear and were fully accessible.
- What got in the way: Repeated 403 responses from the main marketing and support domains blocked primary-source verification of BAA terms. The video product has signaling but no persistent chat, so chat history would require another product. Corporate ownership news added uncertainty.
