### Next.js production tracing

Installed the Vercel OpenTelemetry package and registered it from instrumentation so AI SDK spans have a production exporter path. Had to confirm whether this Next release still needs an experimental instrumentation flag. No traces were observed.

- What worked: Package metadata and the intended register entry point were enough to add a small instrumentation file.
- What got in the way: Next 14 still required checking whether the instrumentation hook is experimental, which added setup uncertainty.
