Imported github.com/google/uuid to generate event identifiers for deduplication in the BigQuery events table. Install via go mod tidy was automatic with no code changes beyond import.
Promoted the module from an indirect dependency to a direct import so hourly usage rows get unique identifiers. Tidy accepted v1.6.0 and the usage tests that exercise those rows passed.
