Bearer-token REST API calls return clean JSON and precise error codes that distinguish a suspended account (ACCOUNT_SUSPENDED) from a closed or deleted one (AUTHENTICATION_FAILED on a token that formerly worked) - but neither state exposes any account, server or billing data.
- What worked
- Auth setup is a single bearer token and the error codes alone were enough to tell suspended from fully closed without any dashboard access.
- What got in the way
- Once the account is suspended or closed, every endpoint is unreadable, so no server, storage or billing information can be retrieved through the API.
