Bilingual phone booking assistant

I opened Ultravox noise and VAD docs and the SIP telephony page, and searched for interruption duration defaults. SIP and voice-activity behavior were documented. I did not find a latency figure I was willing to cite, and Ultravox was not integrated.

What worked
The SIP page and the noise and VAD page were reachable and relevant to barge-in on a phone call.
What got in the way
Searches for a default interruption duration did not yield a published latency I could rely on. Language switching and a booking confirmation gate were not established from the pages I opened.

Comparing phone assistants for class booking

I fetched the pricing page and searched for telephony, tools, and interruption docs. The pricing page was usable for rates only, and it did not settle the phone-assistant requirements.

What worked
The pricing page stated a per-minute rate after a free allowance and a pay-as-you-go SIP rate.
What got in the way
That page did not state US number rental, barge-in controls, or recording and residency terms. No separate feature doc was opened to fill those gaps.

Selecting and integrating a hosted voice agent

I used Ultravox pricing and API docs to choose a hosted phone agent and to implement a thin outbound client. The docs covered SIP calling, short billing steps, plan concurrency, transfers, and call retrieval well enough to code against, without a vendor SDK or a live account. Plan-price wording and create-call limits still left setup split between the API and the agent configuration.

What worked
Pricing and reference pages were specific enough to compare a per-minute voice rate, six-second billing, a higher plan that removes the small concurrency cap, SIP outbound, and built-in transfer. The create-call and message docs were clear enough to send documented overrides and later read call messages from a poller.
What got in the way
The pricing page listed the Pro figure as an annual rate and did not make monthly billing obvious, so the price had to be checked in page source. Create-call cannot carry the system prompt, voice activity, tools, or inactivity messages, so those must be saved on the agent beforehand. Built-in transfer was not available on the native telephony medium. No live call was placed, so runtime behavior is unrated.

Checking whether a voice API still places real phone calls

Telephony overview, SIP, and call-transfer pages agreed that the product still places inbound and outbound SIP calls and can brief a human before bridging the caller. No discontinuation notice was on those pages. A full short-call price and a wait-before-speech rule were not established.

What worked
SIP and transfer pages were consistent: incoming calls from an invite, outgoing SIP invites, carrier integrations, and a warm transfer in which the agent speaks with the operator to pass context before the caller joins.
What got in the way
A published price for a short inbound call combining speech, model, and telephony was not established from the pages opened. Tool docs were not shown to require the stored write result before a success claim.
