Integrated PdfPig for local extraction of embedded PDF text and explicit reporting when documents lack machine-readable text. Package naming and version discovery were confusing: the initial package request failed and was later replaced with the official PdfPig package.

- What got in the way: The first package ID/version combination had no matching stable release and surfaced unrelated custom versions, requiring feed inspection and a package switch.
