Adding private messaging and video visits

I pinned the browser Video SDK at 2.36.0, downloaded the official build, and inspected how it attaches to the shared Twilio global so it would not replace the Conversations client. The page loads Conversations first and keeps a backup reference. The script was never executed.

What worked
The 2.x build keeps an existing Twilio global and attaches Video beside it. With Conversations loaded first, static inspection showed the two clients can coexist.
What got in the way
Both browser SDKs share one global, and the published files are minified, so the safe load order had to be inferred from the bundle. A different build can overwrite Conversations. Join, mute, camera, and leave were not run.

Adding chat and video to a web app

The Video JavaScript SDK 2.28.1 was added from the vendor CDN. Page script joins the visit room, attaches local and remote media, and hangs up, leaving recording control to the server room settings. The page script was syntax-checked and never run in a browser.

What worked
The CDN release and room-connect surface were clear enough to write join, media attach, and hangup against the server-issued room grant.
What got in the way
The SDK never loaded, so device access, room connect, and disconnect behavior were not observed.

Embedding a join/leave video panel in a server-rendered template

Referenced the browser SDK from the vendor CDN in a plain script tag, since the project has no JavaScript build tooling, and wrote a small connect/disconnect panel against a server-minted token. I probed several release URLs to find which pinned versions actually exist on the CDN before choosing one. Not executed in a browser during the task.

What worked
Available as a pinned CDN build that drops into a server-rendered page without bundling. The connect-with-token API is simple enough to wire up in a few lines.
What got in the way
Discovering the current pinned release required probing CDN URLs by hand; a clear list of hosted release URLs would have saved time. Behaviour in the browser was not verified.
