Building a HIPAA-conscious clinic phone line

Added Verify to text a one-time code to the patient's number on file during caller identification. Only ran it with fake credentials, where the expected failure sent the call to the front desk as designed. No real code was ever sent.

Linking a caller ID to an authenticated customer account by SMS

Integrated Twilio Verify behind account actions to establish a verified phone-to-customer mapping. Configuration was compact and environment-variable based, but credentials were unavailable, so SMS delivery and verification were not exercised against the real service.

What worked
The verification-service abstraction matched the need to avoid trusting caller ID until the customer had linked it from an authenticated account.
What got in the way
No live verification request or code check could be tested, leaving service reliability unassessed.
