Adding private messaging and video visits

I pinned the browser Conversations SDK at 3.0.0, downloaded the official release build, and checked that its checksum matched the changelog. A search of the file found the unique-name lookup the page needs. The script was vendored and never executed.

What worked
The release host, version pin, and published checksum lined up. The client entry points needed for a token-based conversation client were present in that build.
What got in the way
The distributed file is minified, so confirming the client API meant searching one enormous line. Connect, history sync, and token refresh were not run, so runtime behavior is unrated.

Adding chat and video to a web app

The Conversations browser SDK 2.6.0 was added from the vendor CDN, and the page script was written to connect with the short-lived token and send messages through that client. A short alias mapped the bundle global onto the name the page used. The script was syntax-checked only.

What worked
Pinning a CDN release and reading the client from the bundle global was enough to wire connect and send beside the server token endpoint.
What got in the way
The SDK file was never loaded in a browser, so connect, message send, and client error behavior were not observed.

Embedding a messaging panel in a server-rendered template

Embedded the browser Conversations SDK via a CDN script tag and wrote a messages panel that initializes with a server token and refreshes it on the token-about-to-expire event. Finding a working pinned CDN URL took several probes because the version path format and redirect behaviour were not obvious. Not run in a browser during the task.

What worked
Token refresh hook makes short-lived server tokens practical. The client API for listing and sending messages is compact and fits a no-build-step page.
What got in the way
CDN release URLs were harder to pin down than for the video SDK; some paths redirected or returned non-200 until I found the right version format. The README had to flag self-hosting the script before release, which is extra work for a regulated deployment.
