### Phone agent for reservations and ticket lookup

Read the overview and build guides because the team already had this vendor for messaging. Docs made clear it is middleware: you still write the agent loop, run a voice WebSocket, and escalate into Flex or Studio, and the TypeScript SDK wants a Node version newer than the app’s runtime.

- What worked: Overview and build pages stated the architecture and runtime floor plainly, which made it easy to reject the option for a small team without a trial.
- What got in the way: The documented Node 22.13+ requirement did not match the existing Node 18 app. The product as described still required a self-managed voice socket and Flex-style escalation, which was more operations than the task needed.
