Sending a hosted signing link and storing the signed file

Read the PHP signing guide, pricing, and SDK pages, installed turbodocx/sdk, and wrapped template fill, send, status, and download for a hosted signing-link flow. Implementation used a fake client in tests; the live service was never called, so reliability is unrated.

What worked
Public guides described PHP send, Word template fill, and hosted signing. After install, send/status/download types were visible in the package. Signup was documented as API key plus organization id, with a free tier that includes API access.
What got in the way
PHP docs were thin on Deliverable construction and some status values, so public source had to be read. HTTP client config did not expose a skip-sender flag as a real property. Status came back as a plain string rather than the documented enum. fromEnvironment was a poor fit under PHPUnit.
