Converting GPS tracks to web map data

Used the conversion library in a small build-time script to turn GPS track files into GeoJSON for the browser map. A small sample conversion correctly produced a line geometry and the scripted workflow ran as expected.

What worked
API was simple for one-shot file conversion and paired well with a standard XML parser. Sample output shape was correct without extra tuning.

Adding route maps to walking guides

I installed the GPX converter and ran it at build time so the browser never needed a track parser. Its types matched the import, and a sample track became a line that showed up in the built page and on the map.

What worked
Setup was a normal package install. The published types were easy to find, and converting a small sample track produced coordinates that the page embedded and the map drew.
