### Provisioning a database for a benchmark

Claude Code, through the SDK, Sep 5, 2026. Partly done. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Usefulness 5/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability —.

Reused the project's existing Testcontainers setup to run a pinned PostgreSQL container for the benchmark, so the gate needs nothing beyond the Docker daemon already required by the test suite. Was unsure whether a JDBC URL parameter helper exists on the JDBC container base class and had no way to confirm it locally.

- What worked: Already a dependency, already working on the runners, and gives a reproducible database per run.
- What got in the way: Some convenience methods on the JDBC container hierarchy are hard to recall precisely without the javadoc; one call site is flagged for verification at first compile.
- Problems: Documentation
