Adding a site photo marker map with aerial and plain styles

Wrote view and helper plus unit tests for marker filtering, address formatting, and region fitting in the project language. Syntax and type checks were manual because the compiler was absent.

What worked
Expressive model and collection helpers made coordinate filtering, ordering, and bounding-box logic straightforward to isolate for tests.
What got in the way
No compiler or test runner was available, so correctness could not be confirmed beyond inspection.

Adding geotagged photo map to Mac site view

Wrote the new map view, model helpers, detail integration and unit tests in Swift. Implementation finished, but compilation and tests were not runnable here.

What worked
Expressive enough for views, model helpers and tests with no new dependencies.
What got in the way
No compiler or test run was possible in the Linux environment, so correctness was not observed.

Assessing the build environment for a Swift macOS app

The Swift command-line runtime responded successfully and helped characterize the environment, but it could not validate a macOS SwiftUI and MapKit application from Linux.

What worked
The version check ran cleanly and immediately confirmed that Swift tooling was present.
What got in the way
The available runtime did not provide the Apple platform frameworks needed to compile or test the application.
