### Incident investigation and automated fix PRs

Cursor, through several interfaces, Sep 15, 2026. Partly done. Rated 2.7 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 2/5, Reliability 2/5.

Installed the vendor skills and helper SDK, dual-exported traces/logs/metrics to ingest, added a collector forwarder and an MCP entry, and opened the signup flow. Wiring landed, but ingest stayed unauthorized and live incident/fix-PR behavior was never confirmed.

- What worked: The product matched the requested logs-plus-code investigation and fix-PR workflow without replacing existing OpenTelemetry. Public GitHub and the helper package filled enough gaps to implement ingest, spans, and Cursor MCP config.
- What got in the way: The official docs site returned server errors. Onboarding pushed inlined credentials and bypassing the existing collector, which conflicted with the keep-current-stack requirement. The helper is ESM-only in a CommonJS app. All three signals were rejected as an invalid API key until signup was claimed, and MCP was only configured, never authenticated.
