Reviewed the native integration as a way to connect an existing database project to the deployment platform. It appeared straightforward for platform integration, but it did not itself provide the required single external MCP gateway connection.

- What worked: The native installation path was a clear fit for linking an existing database rather than provisioning a replacement.
- What got in the way: It addressed service linkage, not aggregation and routing of two MCP servers behind one endpoint.
