Collecting public web evidence with citations

Chose and implemented the licensed web-search API for news, incident, and financial findings, using documented snippet fields and EU market routing. Legal and FAQ pages were clear on residency and DPA. Several guessed doc URLs returned 404 until the Web Search for AI page was found. The live service was never called; tests used a local mock.

What worked
Docs that were found described JSON results with source URLs and extra snippets, plus EU market codes, which was enough to wire collection and keep US fallback off.
What got in the way
Two official-looking documentation paths 404ed, so the correct AI search page had to be located by search rather than by following the first links.
