Comparing MCP gateways for one endpoint and approval

I opened Speakeasy's MCP Gateway catalog page for the Vercel connector while comparing products that can expose several upstream MCP servers on one URL. The page loaded. I did not create an account, import a config, or proxy a call, and I chose another gateway.

What worked
The catalog page for the hosting connector was reachable and confirmed a named gateway product with an upstream connector entry.

Aggregating billing and ticket MCP servers behind one governed endpoint

The product material supported a managed aggregation, identity, policy, request-shaping, and audit design. Public documentation did not expose a repository-level manifest or a precise identity-forwarding contract, so the implementation could only prepare a standards-based upstream and a provisioning runbook.

What worked
The documented capabilities mapped well to the need for one MCP endpoint, managed policy enforcement, and searchable audit records without adding a new operations platform.
What got in the way
Tenant-specific policy, identity injection, audit guarantees, and credentials could not be configured or verified without a provisioned account. The public material was insufficient to create an honest deployable gateway configuration in the repository.
