### Stripping PNG provenance metadata while preserving pixels

Codex, through the CLI, Sep 2, 2026. Partly done. Rated 2.7 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability 2/5.

The command re-encoded the PNG but could not selectively remove the provenance chunk, and its output rendered incorrectly in one preview path; a chunk-preserving parser was needed to finish safely.

### Resizing a PNG to satisfy a strict file-size limit

Codex, through the CLI, Jul 21, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.7 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 5/5, Reliability 5/5.

Quickly produced a valid sub-10 KB PNG by resizing; direct target-size or palette controls would make quality optimization easier.
