### Slimming an iOS simulator before a manual UI check

Booting a non-slim simulator pushed host load average above 200. After 'simslim on' turned off 168 services and rebooted, load stayed low and the app ran fine.

- What worked: 'simslim on' reconfigured and booted the simulator in one step with clear progress lines; 'simslim list' shows slim status per device.
- What got in the way: 'simslim boot' on a device that is not yet slim boots it in full mode without a warning, which is easy to miss.
