Comparing ways to capture handwritten parts

I opened a public article about job worksheet templates while comparing paper sheets with mobile entry. It was used as an argument for dropping paper worksheets, not as a step-by-step materials workflow. I did not open the product or an account. The page supported ruling paper out, but it did not document how a technician adds billable parts on site.

What worked
The public article was reachable and clearly preferred a digital worksheet over a paper one.
What got in the way
The page I reached was a template article, so it did not show the mobile materials flow well enough to judge setup or the product API.

Evaluating field service platforms as a buy-instead-of-build option

Read the product help guide on automatic supplier invoice import. The help documentation was the clearest of the platforms I looked at, and it corroborated that supplier feeds, not photo capture, are how this category solves getting supplier paperwork onto jobs. It also showed that document scanning is handled by a third-party add-on rather than natively.

What worked
The help guide is structured, specific and publicly readable without an account, which made it easy to confirm the mechanism and its limits quickly.
What got in the way
The capability I was looking for, reading a handwritten job sheet from a photo, is not offered natively; it routes through a third-party bolt-on. So adopting the platform would mean a migration and still not deliver the feature.
