Pinned14.0.3 handled signed registration and authentication in both Node and a native local Worker runtime. Required user verification, RP/origin checks and counter verification worked with a database-owned challenge lifecycle.

- What got in the way: The installed declarations use string transport arrays while prose examples still mention a removed Future transport type. Reading versioned declarations resolved the integration issue.
