Extended an existing initializer with a before_send hook that deletes job arguments from the Sidekiq context and adds a job_class tag. Verified end to end by swapping in the SDK's dummy transport and inspecting the outgoing event in-process. The Event object API, context merge semantics and callable validation behaved as expected.
- What worked
- before_send receives a real Event object with predictable context merging; the dummy transport made it trivial to assert on the exact payload without network access; enabled_environments cleanly separates initialization from sending so test-env verification was possible.
- What got in the way
- Minor: I briefly assumed traces sampling could be boosted on error, which the API does not support because sampling decides at transaction start. Not a bug, but easy to misremember.
