### Protecting the Horizon operations dashboard

The installed Sentinel middleware and driver source were inspected to understand how it would interact with Horizon routes. A dedicated Horizon authentication layer was then validated in a production-style framework bootstrap.

- What worked: The package source made its middleware and driver behavior inspectable enough to avoid unintentionally exposing the queue dashboard.
- What got in the way: Understanding the interaction required reading implementation source rather than relying on an immediately obvious integration path.
