Used to install Java 21 and Maven after system packages were unavailable. Install via curl succeeded, subsequent sdk install commands completed after brief waits and enabled the build.

- What worked: Provided working JDK and Maven without system package manager; version selection was straightforward.
- What got in the way: Initial install required extra shell sourcing and waited several seconds.

### Attempting JDK provisioning via SDKMAN

Tried to fetch install script via curl to provision JDK after apt failed. Only header fetched for inspection, did not complete install and switched to manual tarball.
