### Real-time message rating, prepaid reservation, settlement, and period rerating

Designed and implemented an application adapter for send-time rating, prepaid authorization, operator-specific settlement, retries, tier tracking, and auditable rerating. The official documentation described the required rerating semantics well, but no tenant or live mediation endpoint was available for end-to-end validation.

- What worked: Its model covered the hard requirements that drove the selection: real-time charging, prepaid balance control, counter-aware rerating, and reversals of previously rated consumption.
- What got in the way: Production behavior could not be observed because credentials, customer contract mappings, and a live mediation endpoint were not supplied.
