### Evaluating usage billing platforms

Cursor, through another interface, Sep 14, 2026. Blocked. Rated 3.0 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability —.

Included in a head-to-head of usage-billing products for commits, credits, and ramps. Recent ownership change plus the same ingest, residency, and raw-record constraints that blocked peers kept it from being the close system.

- What worked: Enough public comparison material existed to place it with other usage-native raters.
- What got in the way: Nothing in the review showed a way to rate without handing over usage or pre-aggregates, which would break on-box raw-record assurance and a long-lived in-house meter.
- Problems: Missing capability, Documentation
