Integrating localization checks with build and database tasks

Rake was used to inspect task wiring, add the localization gate to the normal test prerequisite, list routes and tasks, and attempt migrations. Task integration worked; migration execution stopped at the unavailable database service.

What worked
Task discovery and prerequisite inspection made it possible to verify that the translation check was connected to the normal test workflow.
What got in the way
The database migration task could not proceed without the configured database service, so schema-dependent verification remained incomplete.

Running database, test, and framework validation tasks

Used Rake as the fallback entry point for migrations, tests, task discovery, and autoload checks after the Rails launcher proved unusable. Task execution itself was clear, but database work was blocked by unavailable PostgreSQL and this project did not expose a routes task.

What worked
Task listing and the autoload validation task ran predictably and provided useful diagnostics.
What got in the way
Migration and test tasks could not pass the database connection stage, and requesting the conventional routes task produced a clear missing-task error.

Preparing the Rails database schema

Rake was invoked through Rails to run migrations after correcting executable permissions, then reached the database task before the absent PostgreSQL server blocked completion.

What worked
Once script permissions were corrected, task dispatch and Rails integration proceeded normally to the external database dependency.
What got in the way
The migration task could not finish without a database server in the workspace.
