Checking gem version and Ruby compatibility

Queried the public versions and per-version endpoints for the search and job-queue gems to find the minimum Ruby version and the dependencies of each release. That showed the last releases that still support the older Ruby.

What worked
No auth needed, fast JSON responses, and the required_ruby_version and dependency fields per version were exactly what I needed for the compatibility table.
What got in the way
The v1 and v2 endpoints return different shapes, so I needed small inline parsing scripts to filter the data.

Checking gem versions and compatibility

Queried the v2 versions endpoint to confirm the latest SDK version, its required Ruby version and runtime dependencies before adding gems. Unauthenticated, instant, and the JSON had exactly the fields needed.

What worked
No auth, clean JSON with ruby_version and dependency requirements.
