Wrote the Go-side consumer example for the hand-off guide, covering mutual-TLS setup, consumer group membership and per-record handling. Chosen over the alternative client because it avoids a native dependency. Not executed in this environment.

- Option-function configuration is typed and discoverable, and the TLS setup was noticeably cleaner to express than the string-map configuration style of the equivalent client in the other language.
