Evaluated as the recommended managed Kafka-compatible log for low-volume order events because of usage-based pricing and EU region choice. Documentation read as clear on serverless setup, topic retention, and keyed ordering.

What worked
Serverless model fit the stated daily volume and burst headroom without reserved capacity, and region selection addressed data residency.

No live cluster was provisioned and usage pricing was not confirmed in session, so cost remained an estimate to check before purchase.
