### Testing Redis billing scripts without a live server

fakeredis with Lua support enabled local tests of the atomic authorization scripts when no Redis service was available. The resulting billing test suite passed.

- What worked: It provided enough Redis and Lua behavior to test retries, isolation, funding rejection, renewal, settlement, and release deterministically.
- What got in the way: It required an extra Lua-enabled installation and cannot establish production Redis reliability or failover behavior.
