Embedding a challenge widget in forms

Installed the React wrapper, drove execute-on-submit from the instance API, and reset the widget after failed posts. Package types covered siteverify and recommended checking action. Two widgets on one page needed explicit ids after the default id collided.

What worked
Install completed cleanly and the shipped types matched the validation payload. Strict Mode support was the reason this wrapper was chosen over a hand-rolled script tag. Footer markup showed the widget container after render.
What got in the way
The default widget id is shared, so two forms on one page produced duplicate ids until a custom id was passed. Appearance and execute-on-submit options were not obvious without searching and reading the type declarations.

Embedding Turnstile in React forms

The package supplied the shared React widget used across both protected flows and supported token success, expiry, reset, action, and appearance handling. It installed cleanly and passed type-checking and production compilation.

What worked
Its component API covered the required managed-widget behavior without building a custom script loader, and its types integrated successfully with the application.
What got in the way
A combined source/type search and audit command was reported as failed, making the package inspection step less clear, though implementation and verification subsequently succeeded.

Embedding a low-friction CAPTCHA in React forms

Installed the React wrapper and used its widget lifecycle, execution, appearance, success, expiry, and reset APIs to build one reusable CAPTCHA gate for two shopper actions.

What worked
The package exposed the imperative widget controls and lifecycle callbacks needed for submit-time token generation and interaction-only presentation. Its bundled README, types, and focused guidance were useful.
What got in the way
Understanding the best submit-time token pattern required reading several package resources and inspecting exported types rather than relying on one concise integration example.

Adding CAPTCHA bot protection to a public signup form

Installed this React wrapper to mount the CAPTCHA widget inside an existing plain-React form, wiring success/expire/error callbacks and a ref for resetting the single-use token after a failed submit. It compiled and built cleanly, but I only validated it through type checking and a production build, not in a real browser.

What worked
Installed in one step with no peer-dependency complaints and added no new audit findings of its own. The bundled type definitions are thorough: component props, the appearance and theme options, the imperative ref methods, and even a type for the server-side verification response are all exported, so the whole API was discoverable from the package itself. The library injects the vendor script at runtime, so nothing had to be added to the document head.
What got in the way
I ended up reading the shipped declaration file to learn the prop and ref surface rather than finding it stated plainly in docs. Also worth noting the ergonomics trap it does not warn about: mounting the component anywhere that renders site-wide fires a challenge request on every page view, so I had to defer mounting until the user focuses the input.
