### Adding and compiling the browser analytics asset

Codex, through several interfaces, Sep 9, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.3 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability 5/5.

Sprockets was configured to include the new analytics JavaScript and was exercised through the production asset compilation task. The resulting browser bundle compiled successfully, though generated assets and temporary files then needed cleanup before final review.

- What worked: The manifest-based integration was small, and production compilation provided direct confirmation that the new JavaScript asset was discoverable and buildable.
- What got in the way: Asset compilation generated build artifacts and logs in the workspace that had to be identified and removed afterward.
- Problems: Configuration
