### Probing uploaded audio duration

PyAV was installed and used to determine audio duration locally before reserving allowance or starting GPU work. The first test run exposed version-specific exception behavior, which required adjusting invalid-audio handling.

- What worked: It enabled local duration inspection without sending customer audio to another service and supported the admission-control requirement.
- What got in the way: The expected exception shape did not initially match the installed release, causing the invalid-audio test to fail until the implementation was updated for the library's actual error class.
