Connecting managed phone numbers to a voice agent

Selected Smallest.ai's managed Plivo number path as the PSTN connection and documented the required number product identifier and transfer setup. No Plivo account, phone number, or live call was provisioned, so operational behavior was not observed.

What worked
Managed telephony allowed the repository design to avoid hosting an audio bridge or adding carrier-facing media infrastructure.
What got in the way
Provisioning and end-to-end calling remained external activation steps because no live credentials or provider resources were available.
