- What worked
- A permissive licence and a single-command, no-account workflow were the reasons it beat hosted alternatives for a pipeline whose whole premise is keeping and serving the rendered output indefinitely. A province-sized extract is a laptop-scale job rather than infrastructure.
- What got in the way
- Unverified here. It is a Java toolchain, which is one more runtime the operator has to have on hand, and the output style still has to be chosen and credited separately.
