### Evaluating environment markers when pinning sandbox dependencies

Used the markers module to evaluate conditional pins (for example numpy versions that differ by interpreter version) when extracting exact versions from an exported requirements file so the sandbox template matches the API. It was already present in the environment and worked on the first attempt; a small unit test covers the helper.

### Selecting a stable Terraform release

Used its version parser while selecting the newest stable Terraform release. The first pass failed clearly on a vendor version containing a non-PEP-440 suffix; filtering candidates to plain semantic versions before parsing resolved the issue.

- What worked: The exception precisely identified the incompatible version string, and valid version objects were easy to compare afterward.
- What got in the way: It could not directly parse every version label in the vendor release index, so input filtering was required.
