Integrated the connector into a custom Kafka Connect image and configured mapping, bulk writes, tombstone deletion, retries, and dead-letter handling. The first planned artifact version did not exist, so tags, source, and release assets had to be inspected before pinning a real release.

- A published release archive was available and could be checksum-pinned for a reproducible internal image once the correct version was identified.
- What got in the way
- Version naming and configuration-property compatibility were unclear enough to cause an incorrect initial pin and additional source-level verification work.
