### Executing the TypeScript CDK application

ts-node executed the TypeScript CDK entry point during synthesis. It initially failed because the infrastructure package lacked direct Node type definitions even though the regular compiler appeared to resolve them transitively.

- What got in the way: Its dependency-resolution behavior differed from the earlier compiler check, making the first synthesis failure less obvious than expected.
