Installed and imported the official Go SDK to put objects and create pre-authenticated download requests. The latest module release raised the language version above what the project allows. Finding and pinning an older compatible tag, plus pinning a transitive package, restored the build. A default-branch source fetch for request types failed.
- What worked
- The object-storage client exposed put and pre-authenticated request APIs that mapped to the feature. After pinning, the module compiled and unit tests around the wrapper passed.
- What got in the way
- Latest install rewrote the module to a newer Go than CI allows. Module tidy then failed on a transitive package that required that newer Go. Several tagged module files had to be checked to find the last compatible release, and the download was slow.
