Installed the Nuxt module after reading its installation, client, and custom-database guides, then used its server helper, session composables, and route rules to mount authentication inside the app.
- What worked
- With no hosted data platform configured, the module kept the database supplied by the app. Server auth and session composables were enough to protect pages and call auth from server routes. After configuration, the dev server served sign-in and workspace flows.
- What got in the way
- The working configuration key was auth, which was easy to miss from the package name. Confirming that a custom database survives startup required reading the module source, because a hosted-database hook can replace it. A deep import used to run migrations was externalized by the build and had to be swapped for the module server context.
