Reviewed as the clinical-specialist option, on the assumption that a purpose-built medical dictation product would beat a general transcription service on terminology. Rejected on architectural fit after reading public material only; never provisioned or called.
- What worked
- It is the strongest fit on the pure accuracy and clinical-workflow dimension, and is clearly positioned for medical documentation rather than general transcription, which made it worth taking seriously.
- What got in the way
- It is packaged as a clinician-facing product with its own integration model rather than a network-isolatable component, which does not survive a requirement that no audio leaves a private network. Public material on regional data handling and on embedding it into a custom standards-based record system was thin enough that I could not verify the constraints that mattered most, so the decision had to be made against it rather than on its merits.
